What we collect

The details you type into a Dearly — the recipient’s name, your message, your memories and any photos you upload. If you give us an email address at checkout, we keep that so we can send your receipt and link.

What we do with it

We use it to build and host your Dearly, and to send you your link and receipt. That is all. We don’t sell your data, we don’t use your photos or messages to train anything, and we don’t share them with advertisers.

Who can see your Dearly

Your link is unguessable and carries a no-index instruction, so search engines skip it. Anyone you send the link to can open it — treat it like a photo you’d text someone. We don’t post it anywhere.

Payments

Payments are handled by a PCI-compliant payment gateway. Your card, UPI and banking details go directly to them and never touch our servers. We store only the fact that an order was paid and the gateway’s reference for it.

Analytics and advertising

We measure how people find and use Dearly using privacy-respecting analytics and, when enabled, advertising pixels from Meta and Google. These record actions like “viewed the landing page” or “completed a purchase” — never the contents of your Dearly.

How long we keep things

A Dearly stays live for one year from the day it’s created. Order records are kept longer where tax law requires it.

Deleting your Dearly

Email hello@dearly.gift from the address on your order and we’ll take it down and delete the photos. No explanation needed.
